Refund Policy
Al Afaq Quran Academy provides online Quran and Islamic education through live, one-on-one classes. This Refund Policy applies to all tuition payments and services provided by the academy.
1. Full Refund Before Regular Classes Begin
If you have paid the upcoming month’s tuition but decide not to continue before your regular classes officially begin, you may be eligible for a full refund under the following conditions:
Voluntary Cancellation: If you change your mind or your schedule changes after the free trial but before your first regular class, the tuition payment may be refunded in full.
Academy Unable to Provide a Suitable Schedule: If you have paid in advance but we are unable to arrange a suitable class schedule before your regular classes begin, a full refund will be issued.
Payment Processing Fees: Refunds may be issued after deducting any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees charged by payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, banks, or card issuers. These third-party fees are outside the control of Al Afaq Quran Academy.
2. No Refund After Regular Classes Begin
Regular enrollment takes place after the student has completed the free trial and is satisfied with the learning experience. Once a dedicated tutor and time slot have been assigned, the following conditions apply:
No Refund After Attendance: Once a student has officially enrolled and attended even one regular class, no full or partial refund will be provided.
Reserved Time Slot: The student’s tutor and class time are reserved specifically for them. Therefore, tuition cannot be refunded if the student decides to discontinue classes during an active billing cycle.
No Partial or Prorated Refunds: We do not provide refunds, prorated fees, or credits for missed classes, unused lessons, partial months, or early discontinuation during a billing cycle.
3. Cancellation and Termination
Students or parents who wish to discontinue their enrollment should notify the academy administration.
End of Billing Cycle: Cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. Students may continue attending their scheduled classes until the end of that cycle.
Immediate Cancellation: If a student chooses to stop attending before the current billing cycle ends, the remaining unused days or classes are not eligible for a refund or credit.
4. Refund Request Conditions
All refund requests and billing concerns are subject to the following conditions:
7-Day Request Period: Any eligible refund request must be submitted in writing to the academy within 7 days of the payment date. Requests submitted after this period will not normally be considered.
Processing Time: Approved refunds may take up to 14 business days to process and will generally be returned through the original payment method.
Currency and Bank Charges: Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency. Al Afaq Quran Academy is not responsible for differences caused by exchange rates, currency conversion charges, international transaction fees, or charges imposed by the student’s bank or card provider.
Minimum Refund Value: If applicable payment gateway, bank, international processing, or currency conversion charges equal or exceed the refundable amount, no cash refund may be issued.
5. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, payment error, or dispute, we kindly ask you to contact Al Afaq Quran Academy directly so that our administration team can review and resolve the matter.
Students and parents should contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through their bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.
We are committed to reviewing genuine payment concerns fairly and working toward an appropriate resolution.
