Fee Policy
Al Afaq Quran Academy provides affordable, structured, and reliable online Quran and Islamic education for students worldwide.
By enrolling in our regular classes and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following Fee Policy.
1. Free Trial
We offer a 100% free trial session with no obligation to continue. Tuition fees only apply after the student completes the trial and formally enrolls in regular classes.
2. Fixed Monthly Fee
Our academy follows a fixed monthly tuition model rather than charging students separately for each class.
Billing Cycle: Your billing month begins on the date your regular classes start and continues until the same date of the following month.
Holidays: The monthly fee remains fixed even when the number of classes varies slightly because of public holidays or scheduled academy closures.
3. Advance Payment
Monthly tuition fees must be paid in advance for the upcoming billing month.
Advance payment helps us reserve your preferred teacher and class time and ensures that your lessons continue without interruption.
If any previous balance is outstanding, it must be cleared together with the upcoming month’s tuition fee.
4. Continuation and Suspension of Classes
Classes will continue when:
All previous outstanding payments have been cleared.
The upcoming month’s tuition fee has been received.
If the advance payment is not received by the billing renewal date, classes may be suspended until the required payment is completed. Classes missed during a payment-related suspension will not qualify for make-up sessions.
5. Grace Period for Late Payments
In genuine and exceptional circumstances, a short payment extension may be considered.
Parents or students should contact the academy administration in advance and provide a clear expected payment date. Any grace period is provided solely at the discretion of Al Afaq Quran Academy.
6. Missed Classes
Regular attendance helps students maintain consistent progress and allows tutors to manage their reserved schedules effectively.
Student Absence: If a student misses a class without prior notice, the tutor may remain online and attempt to contact the student for up to 15 minutes. After this period, the tutor may leave the class. The missed session will not qualify for a make-up class, and the monthly fee remains applicable.
Advance Notice: Students should notify the academy or tutor in advance whenever they are unable to attend.
Monthly Fee: Because our tuition is based on a reserved monthly schedule, the regular monthly fee remains applicable unless the student or parent formally requests a pause or cancellation according to the academy’s policies.
7. Teacher Absences and Technical Problems
If a class cannot take place because of an emergency, internet problem, power outage, or other issue on the tutor’s side, we will make reasonable arrangements to protect the student’s paid learning time.
Make-Up Class: A 30-minute make-up session will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
Same Billing Month: The make-up session should normally be completed within the same billing month.
Tuition Credit: If the academy is unable to provide the make-up class before the billing month ends, the value of the missed session may be provided as a credit toward the following month’s tuition.
No Cash Refund: Approved credits will be applied to the next billing cycle rather than issued as cash refunds.
8. Eid Holidays
Al Afaq Quran Academy observes the official holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.
Since our tuition operates on a fixed monthly basis, monthly fees remain unchanged during these scheduled holidays. No partial refunds, discounts, or additional make-up classes are provided for the official Eid holiday period.
9. Holding Classes and Transferring Fees
If a student has already paid the monthly fee and provides timely notice to temporarily hold their enrollment, the paid amount may be carried forward to the immediately following month.
Fees cannot be held indefinitely or transferred to multiple future billing cycles.
10. Reserving a Teacher and Time Slot
If a student plans to take an extended break of one month or longer but wants to keep the same tutor and exact class time, a reservation payment equal to 50% of the regular tuition fee may be required to secure the slot during the break.
11. Family Discounts
We offer family and sibling discounts where applicable.
If a family member leaves the program or cancels their enrollment, the discounted rates for the remaining students may be adjusted automatically according to the academy’s standard fee structure.
12. Annual Fee Adjustments
Due to changes in operational costs, technology expenses, and inflation, tuition fees may be adjusted by up to 5% annually.
Any applicable fee changes will be communicated to students or parents accordingly.
13. Purpose of Our Fee Policy
Al Afaq Quran Academy operates as a self-sustaining educational service and does not depend on charity or public donations. Our tuition fees support the teachers, administration, technology, and infrastructure required to provide reliable online Quran education to students around the world.
Please Note: We do not charge a fee for the Holy Quran itself. The Quran is the sacred Word of Allah and cannot be bought or sold.
The tuition fees paid by students primarily cover:
The dedicated time, effort, and professional services of our Quran tutors.
Administration and student support.
Website hosting and server maintenance.
Online learning platforms and digital infrastructure.
Internet connectivity and backup power arrangements.
Computers, laptops, headsets, and other equipment required for online classes.
These resources help us provide a reliable, professional, and comfortable online Quran learning experience for students and families worldwide.
