


About Rules of Tajweed Course
This course is designed for students who have completed the Quran Reading Course and can read the Quran but want to improve their Tajweed skills. Through regular reading practice, students build confidence and learn to apply the Tajweed Rules correctly.
Since fluency comes with repetition and consistent practice, the course combines Quran reading with practical Tajweed exercises. All essential basic Tajweed Rules are covered along with guided recitation practice to help students improve their pronunciation and fluency.

Rules of Tajweed Course Outline
Makhaarij: Points of articulation of Arabic letters.
Waqf: Rules of stopping during Quran recitation.
Arabic vowels and their correct application.
Qalqalah and its pronunciation.
Sun and Moon letters.
Rules of Izhar-e-Halaqi, Ikhfa, Idgham-e-Yarmaloon, and Iqlab.
Rules of Izhar-e-Shafawi, Ikhfa-e-Shafawi, and Idgham-e-Shafawi.
Reading practice with Surah Al-Fatiha.
Quran reading practice from Para 30.
Practical exercises based on Tajweed Rules.
Requirements
This course is designed to help students apply Tajweed Rules while reading the Quran. Students should already be able to read Arabic words fluently and understand Harakaat, Sukoon, Madd, Tanween, and Shaddah.
If these basics are not familiar, students should complete the Quran Reading Course first before starting the Tajweed Course.
After completing this course, students will be able to recite the Holy Quran more accurately while applying the essential Tajweed Rules.
